Basketball Recap: Mcnary Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for McNary, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Sunday. They came out on top against the Beaverton Beavers by a score of 59-48 on Tuesday. Given the Celtics' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Beavers are ranked 177th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McNary pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Beaverton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

McNary will head out to face off against Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sprague has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Beaverton, they will be playing at home against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaverton is facing Liberty at the right time seeing as Liberty is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
