In what's become a running theme this season, the Chancellor Chargers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by King George at home to the tune of 72-28. Chancellor is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 13 straight.
Chancellor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendall Scott, who scored 18 points along with six assists and four steals. Scott has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Johnson, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Chancellor's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for King George, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.
Coincidentally, Chancellor and King George will both be playing Culpeper County the next time they take the court. King George will host Culpeper County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Chancellor will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
