After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Sandy brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They never let the David Douglas Scots get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Monday. Considering the Pioneers have won nine games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, Sandy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-7. As for David Douglas, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Sandy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-7 defeat against Central Catholic on the 7th. As for David Douglas, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-0 loss against Nelson on the 7th.
