The Mott Marauders will be playing at home against the Lake Shore Shorians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mott will be strutting in after a victory while Lake Shore will be coming in after a defeat.
Mott can finally bid farewell to their 14-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past Marine City with points to spare, taking the game 61-47. The victory was just what Mott needed coming off of a 76-44 defeat in their prior match.
Lake Shore played against Cousino and lost via forfeit.
Mott's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14. As for Lake Shore, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
Mott came up short against Lake Shore when the teams last played back in March of 2021, falling 56-46. Can Mott avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
