Meanwhile, Wells unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Wednesday. They took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Keene Central.
Willsboro Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Everything went Willsboro Central's way against Wells in their previous matchup back in January of 2016 as Willsboro Central made off with a 41-16 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Willsboro Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
