Texas Wind will face off against the Stephenville FAITH Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Texas Wind is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
On Tuesday, Texas Wind made easy work of Gholson and carried off a 15-2 win. Considering Texas Wind has won four matchups by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Madelyne Morgan was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mylie Mcdougal, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Texas Wind always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .917. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Stephenville FAITH was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to Santo.
Karsyn Bedwell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one stolen base.
Texas Wind's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Stephenville FAITH, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Texas Wind hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .384. However, it's not like Stephenville FAITH struggles in that department as they've averaged .375. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
