York Institute won the last time they faced Monterey and things went their way on Tuesday too. The York Institute Dragons blew past the Monterey Wildcats, posting a 91-21 victory. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Monterey's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ali Novak, who posted five points. The dominant performance also gave Novak a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (33%). Allie Bruschie also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

York Institute is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Monterey, they dropped their record down to 1-24 with the loss, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Monterey is facing Red Boiling Springs at the right time seeing as Red Boiling Springs is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
