Soledad's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pedro Morales Jr, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Anikan Tavarez, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Greenfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Soledad, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
Greenfield will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Gonzales is ranked 1105th, while the Bruins are ranked 1130th). As for Soledad, they will head out on the road to take on the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
