Sadly, the Buford Yellowjackets are still looking for their first win of the season after 22 contests. They had to suffer through a rough 76-49 loss at the hands of York Prep. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Buford in their matchups with York Prep: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Buford still got an impressive performance from Aaron Morris, who scored 23 points. That was a full 46.9% of Buford's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Blake Duncan was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Buford dropped their record down to 0-22 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for York Prep, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buford will take on North Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Buford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for York Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Central at 8:00 p.m.
