Berean Christian suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They were outmatched by Acalanes on the road and fell 76-34. Berean Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.
Meanwhile, even though Benicia scored an imposing 71 points on Friday, Las Lomas still came out on top. Las Lomas walked away with an 81-71 win over Benicia.
Las Lomas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julian Vaucher, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Xayne Mojadiddi, who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Berean Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Las Lomas, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
