Greendale has gone a perfect 4-0 against Milwaukee Reagan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will host the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Greendale 3, Milwaukee Reagan 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Greendale took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Oconomowoc, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raccoons on Friday, sneaking past 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 25th.
Ayla Krecklow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Giselle Paszkiewicz, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 contests. Ella Padron was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Milwaukee Reagan couldn't beat St. Catherine's on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Huskies came up short against the Angels, falling 15-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Huskies, who until this matchup were averaging 3.82 runs allowed.
Laila Dolata was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Maliyah Rosa, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Greendale is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Milwaukee Reagan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Greendale has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Milwaukee Reagan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Greendale got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Milwaukee Reagan by a conclusive 14-2 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
