Three Lakes/Phelps won the last time they met up with Suring, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Three Lakes/Phelps had enough points to win and then some against Suring on Friday, taking their contest 22-6. The success represented a nice turnaround for Three Lakes/Phelps, who in their last game suffered a tough 22-61 loss.
The win bumped Three Lakes/Phelps' record up to 4-3. The defeat dropped Suring's record to 1-6.
Next week Three Lakes/Phelps take on Crandon at 7:00 PM. Three Lakes/Phelps will be strutting in after a victory while Crandon will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Suring, they will face off against Elcho/White Lake. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
