If Wagner were hoping for some payback for the 8-36 loss against Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Wagner off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central a 1-0 record.
Next week, Wagner take on Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at 7:00 PM. As for Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central, they will face of against Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan.
