While Christiansburg put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Patrick Henry. The Blue Demons were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Blue Demons, who have now won six matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Christiansburg is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Patrick Henry, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christiansburg will take on Blacksburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Demons 3.7, the Bruins 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Patrick Henry, they will square off against Franklin County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
