Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Abington Heights). They were the clear victors by  a  21-2 margin over the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns on Tuesday. The  win was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on ten straight.
 Laurenp Stalica made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Stalica was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with one  home run and two  RBI. She is  on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Cecelia O'Malley was a standout: she went 1-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isabelle Wilmot, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
Abington Heights' victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 18-2. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Wallenpaupack Area, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record  this season.
 Abington Heights will take on Valley View at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Wallenpaupack Area, they will square off against Pleasant Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
