The Everglades Gators lost against the South Broward Bulldogs back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Everglades was dealt a 75-8 loss at the hands of South Broward. Everglades has not had much luck with South Broward recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
South Broward was led to victory by Jamesha Card and Jazmine Jones. Card scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Jones dropped a triple-double on 10 points, 10 assists, and 12 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Card has scored at least 25% of South Broward's points. Fabiana Poindujour was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals.
Everglades now has a losing record at 1-2. As for South Broward, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everglades will take on Cypress Bay at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for South Broward, they will head out on the road to face off against Pembroke Pines Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
