St. Michael got themselves on the board against Woodlawn-B.R. on Friday, but Woodlawn-B.R. never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 17-0. Considering the Warriors have won 11 contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Michael is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Woodlawn-B.R., the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-9 record.

Looking ahead, St. Michael will challenge Hanson Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.25 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
