There's no place like home for the Acton-Boxborough Colonials, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Concord-Carlisle by a score of 59-49 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Acton-Boxborough also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Acton-Boxborough's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shannon Patrick, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Baytarian, who scored 13 points.
Acton-Boxborough's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Concord-Carlisle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Acton-Boxborough will head out on the road to challenge Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Concord-Carlisle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
