Hampton Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Mikaela Lee, who almost dropped a triple-double on 25 points, nine rebounds, and ten steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hampton Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Jayla Crosby, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Hampton Christian Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Broadwater Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Hampton Christian Academy will take on Walsingham Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walsingham Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 259th, while Hampton Christian Academy is ranked 71st). As for Broadwater Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portsmouth Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
