They took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Veterans Memorial on Friday. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Veterans Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.
Veterans Memorial was led to victory by Gilbert Trillo and Alvin Trevillion. Trillo rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown, while Trevillion rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown.
Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Veterans Memorial, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Veterans Memorial is on the road again on Friday and play against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th.
