The O'Fallon Panthers stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They really took it to East St. Louis for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-28 win at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-15.
D'Myjah Bolds continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jehda Williams, who scored 12 points along with three blocks.
O'Fallon is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for East St. Louis, they dropped their record down to 9-17 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. O'Fallon will face off against the Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Belleville East will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Panthers are ranked 17th). As for East St. Louis, they will head out on the road to square off against the Maroons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
