It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Adirondack Wildcats had no problem doing just that on Sunday. They snuck past General Brown with a 30-26 win. The win was nothing new for Adirondack as they're now sitting on five straight.
John Hennessey was a one-man wrecking crew for Adirondack as he rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns. Hennessey hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Braden White, who rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
Adirondack's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for General Brown, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Adirondack will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Waverly at 12:00 p.m. on November 18th. Waverly is on a four-game streak of home wins, Adirondack a eight-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. General Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
