One of the most notable came from   Celie Shield, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 11  rebounds. Shield has been hot recently, having  posted 11 or more  boards the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Mia Shrestha, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 12  points and nine  assists.
St. Catherine's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Collegiate, their  victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-9.
 St. Catherine's will be playing at home against St. Anne's-Belfield  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. St. Anne's-Belfield will roll in looking for their  17th straight  win, something St. Catherine's surely won't give up without a fight. As for Collegiate, they will challenge Saint Gertrude at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Collegiate is facing Saint Gertrude at the right time seeing as Saint Gertrude is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
