Even though Petra Academy have not done well against the Yellowstone HomeSchool Knights recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Petra Academy skirted past Yellowstone HomeSchool 33-30. That's two games straight that Petra Academy has won by exactly three points.
Petra Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addy Kerr, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Bos, who scored 13 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Petra Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-8. As for Yellowstone HomeSchool, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Petra Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Billings Christian at 12:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Yellowstone HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to challenge Foothills Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
