Thompson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.
Leading Thompson to victory were Karter Peterson and Drew Overby. Peterson scored 14 points along with three blocks and two steals, while Overby scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Overby hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Gavin Krogstad was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Thompson is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Dunseith, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thompson will take on the Spoilers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Grafton's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Dunseith, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Blue Jays at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Stanley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Dragons in North Dakota (the Blue Jays are ranked 25th, while the Dragons are ranked 97th).
