Basketball Recap: Rantoul's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Urbana University came into Monday's game looking for another win against Rantoul, but Josie Roseman wouldn't allow it. The Eagles blew past the Illineks 49-27 on Monday thanks in part to Roseman, who posted 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Rantoul's points.

Rantoul's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6. As for Urbana University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rantoul won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Urbana University, they will venture away from home to take on Cornerstone Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Illineks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
