Glenwood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jacksonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans will look to defend their home field against the Crimsons at 4:30 p.m. Glenwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Glenwood and Quincy Notre Dame had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Titans put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 15-2 victory on Saturday. The game was the first time the Titans have beaten the Raiders on their field since May 15, 2021.
Andrew Young tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.

On the hitting side, Colten Knoedler was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Grady Mueller was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Glenwood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Quincy Notre Dame only posted an OBP of .217.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Jacksonville's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Granite City by a score of 7-6.
Joe Reif was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Jacksonville: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Peters, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Glenwood's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Jacksonville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Everything went Glenwood's way against Jacksonville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Glenwood made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crimsons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
