Crestview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Myia Etzler, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Kline, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Crestview's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Kalida, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Crestview will finish 2023 at home by hosting Ottawa-Glandorf at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Ottawa-Glandorf is ranked 11th, while Crestview is ranked 22nd). Kalida will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Archbold at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
