While West Ouachita's victory against Grant wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chiefs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cougars 54-52. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

West Ouachita now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Grant, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
