Coolidge is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Yuma Catholic is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Coolidge Bears will welcome the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Coolidge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season.
Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Coolidge against Benjamin Franklin as the squad secured a 59-20 win. The Bears have beaten the Chargers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Chargers has come to flipping the script.

Alaysia White continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 14 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last 47 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Amaira Miguel, who posted eight points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Coolidge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 13 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Yuma Catholic made off with a 43-42 victory over Blue Ridge.
Yuma Catholic's win came from a few key players Coolidge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Amanda Wiley, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. What's more, she also posted a 63% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Sadie Estes was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.
Yuma Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.2 points. As for Coolidge, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Coolidge has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 38.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Yuma Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Coolidge came up short against Yuma Catholic in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, falling 53-46. Can Coolidge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
