Top honors in the league this week go to the Bears, which finished with two wins overall, good for best in the league. Mater Lakes Academy beat
Miami Country Day 22-1 and
Archbishop Curley 28-5.
The Bears' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only 19 hits and six walks, both of which led the league.
The league boasted five .400 hitters over the past week. Leading the pack was Alessandro Lima, who hit .857 by going 6-for-7.
Mater Lakes Academy's
Eddie Salomon led the league in strikeouts this week with eight. With 11 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks fourth in the league.
Jordan Cox was an RBI machine on Monday, as he knocked in five runs during the Bears' 28-5 win over the Knights. He went 3-for-5 and scored two runs.
Jonathan Lorenzo went 3-for-5 as Mater Lakes Academy defeated Archbishop Curley 28-5 on Monday. He rounded out his day with two runs batted in and four runs scored.
