After four games on the road, Columbus Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Grove City Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbus Academy will be strutting in after a victory while the Eagles will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Columbus Academy was fully in charge, breezing past the Irish 60-28 on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Columbus Academy had established a 24 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Grove City Christian was the victim of a tough 60-34 loss at the hands of the Flames on Tuesday. Grove City Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Columbus Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Grove City Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
Columbus Academy was taken down by the Eagles 52-20 in their previous meeting back in December of 2014. Can Columbus Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
