Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Patterson, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. Selah Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Grace Community's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Coram Deo Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season.
