Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

Blue Ridge had won 13 straight home games dating back to last season and Dreylan Creasy-Quirindoongo did his part to make it 14 on Monday. The Blue Ridge Barons blew past the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm 82-59 thanks in part to Creasy-Quirindoongo, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

The team also got some help courtesy of Colby White, who went 5 of 10 en route to 11 points along with five assists and five boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Blue Ridge's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Mercersburg Academy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
