There's no place like home for Bishop Kenny, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against Episcopal School of Jacksonville by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win was just what Bishop Kenny needed coming off of a 5-0 defeat in their prior match.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Carson Cope and
Shawn Selfors, who scored.
Bishop Kenny's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 3.7 goals per game. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Kenny will take on Stanton at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fletcher at 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
