Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hope Christian). They blew past the Rio Grande Ravens 62-17 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hope Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bri Bishop, who posted 18 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Mia Bishop was another key player, putting up 17 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks.

The win snapped Hope Christian's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record. As for Rio Grande, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Hope Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-29 victory against Del Norte on the 11th. Rio Grande has also already played their next match, a 57-31 defeat against Atrisco Heritage Academy on the 11th.
