Cony has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 30. They fell 2-0 to the Oceanside Mariners on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cony of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Cony's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-4. As for Oceanside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Coincidentally, Cony and Oceanside will both be playing Lincoln Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Rams will head out to face the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mariners will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
