For Rogers, this counts as revenge for the 44-40 defeat C.H. Yoe walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Several Yoemen players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mykayla Scott, who scored seven points. Another player making a difference was Aubree Brashear, who scored six points.
Rogers has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for C.H. Yoe, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers will challenge Little River Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Little River Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for C.H. Yoe, they will head out on the road to take on Lorena at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Lorena's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while C.H. Yoe has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
