Conway Springs is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Medicine Lodge is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Conway Springs Cardinals will take on the Medicine Lodge Indians at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Conway Springs had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a  28-20  victory over Marion  on Friday.
  Brayden Kunz continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 194 yards and four touchdowns. Kunz hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for ten straight games.
 Meanwhile, Medicine Lodge strolled past Valley Heights with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  48-30.
  Keveon Ruiz had a dynamite game for Medicine Lodge, rushing for 75 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 217 yards and two touchdowns.  Derrek Randels was another key contributor, picking up 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Conway Springs' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Medicine Lodge, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 9-2.
 Conway Springs didn't have too much breathing room in their  match against Medicine Lodge  in their previous meeting  back in September, but they still walked away with a  40-34 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  Medicine Lodge's  Ruiz, who threw for 372 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Conway Springs still be able to contain him? There's only one way to find out.
