While Cathedral's victory against Da Vinci wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cathedral Fighting Irish had just enough and edged out the Da Vinci Dragons 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won three in a row.

Cathedral's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Da Vinci, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9-1.
