The Cheltenham Panthers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 58-37 margin over Frankford. That's another feather in the cap for Cheltenham, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Frankford still got an impressive performance from Doron Ross, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameren Lane, who scored 5 points along with 11 rebounds.
Cheltenham's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Frankford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheltenham won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Council Rock North at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Frankford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Olney at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
