Baseball Recap: South Range Has No Trouble Against Struthers

South Range had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 7-5 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Struthers Wildcats 8-2. Considering the Raiders have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Struthers, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. They have struggled against South Range recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

For Struthers' part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Becker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double. Becker has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-10 otherwise.

South Range will have a chance to go back-to-back against Struthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
