Rensselaer Central won the last time they faced Benton Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bombers blew past the Bison 13-2. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Brynn Hannon was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brooke Koebcke, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.

Rensselaer Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Rensselaer Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.
