After having lost a blowout to Howards Grove in their previous game, Manitowoc Lutheran was happy to find some success on Friday. Manitowoc Lutheran took their game against Algoma 28-20. That result is just more of the same for Manitowoc Lutheran, who also won the last time these teams played.
Algoma had two big standouts, as junior Jordon Deringer picked up 156 yards on the ground, while senior Max Panger [stats] punched in 3 rushing TDs.
The win got Manitowoc Lutheran back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Algoma's record to 0-2.
Next week, Manitowoc Lutheran take on Cedar Grove-Belgium at 7:00 PM. As for Algoma, they will face of against Kewaunee.
