2A Flatirons recap November 13, 2013
Faith Christian's Trevor Olsen recorded the longest rushing play in 2A Flatirons this season in his game against Gunnison last week. Olsen ran for 96 yards on the play and finished with 96 on the day as his team topped the Cowboys.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Faith Christian beat Gunnison 48-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
The Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Adam Buchmann threw for 111 and 2 touchdowns and Grant Harkness had 55 yards receiving. On the ground Daniel Langewisch chipped in 202 yards. Brandyn Thompson helped Faith Christian's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 36 yards.

Langewisch was a passing and rushing force as the Eagles beat the Cowboys.
The Pinnacle's Hector Venegas and Juan Cortez led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Venegas has thrown for 669 yards this season, while Cortez has 22 catches for 254 yards. Langewisch from Faith Christian leads the league in rushing with 1,357 yards.
The Eagles took down Gunnison 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Buchmann ran for 75 yards during the win.
