The Northland Lutheran Wildcats were expected to have a tough go of it on Tuesday, and that's exactly how things played out. They suffered a grim 98-77 defeat to the Mosinee Indians. Northland Lutheran's defeat came despite an improvement on an already decent score in their previous defeat against Manawa.
The Wildcats' loss pushed them down to 8-9. The win bumped Mosinee's record up to 16-6.
Northland Lutheran will be hunkering down at home again for their game against Gresham Community Friday. The Wildcats are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight. Mosinee is on the road again Friday and plays against Lakeland. Lakeland also lit up the scoreboard in their last matchup, so this could be a high-scoring matchup.
