The Bergenfield Bears will be playing at home against the Dumont Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Bergenfield ended up a good deal behind Ridgewood and lost 68-50. While losing is never fun, Bergenfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while Ridgewood is ranked 43rd).
Meanwhile, Dumont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 51-47 to Cliffside Park. Dumont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bergenfield has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Dumont, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
