Nevaeh Rodriguez was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Ary'Anna Payne was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Central Kitsap waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Seahawks as they made off with a 12-5 victory. Considering the Cougars have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Savvy Paulson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Paulson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Scarlett Mabe, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That stolen base was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Addisyn Hinze, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Thursday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Silas has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .541. However, it's not like Central Kitsap struggles in that department as they've averaged .521. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Silas was able to grind out a solid victory over Central Kitsap when the teams last played back in March of 2019, winning 7-3. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
