Basketball Recap: Manhattan Center for Science & Math's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Washington last Monday, Manhattan Center for Science & Math came back down to earth. The Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams fell just short of the Democracy Prep Dragons by a score of 46-44 on Thursday. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Manhattan Center for Science & Math's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Democracy Prep, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manhattan Center for Science & Math will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Environmental on January 4, 2025. Manhattan Center for Science & Math is facing Environmental at the right time seeing as Environmental is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Democracy Prep will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Richman on January 4, 2025.
