McKeel Academy won the last time they faced Auburndale and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bloodhounds by a score of  3-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wildcats.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-3, 24-26,  25-15.
 Riley Peeples paced McKeel Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Peeples got some help from  Isabella Burke and her 34 assists. Burke also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Ava Bunch, each putting up four.
 Despite the loss, Auburndale still got an impressive performance from   Madison Whitmore, who  had 19  digs.  Kristilyn Fields was another key player,  getting 11  digs and one  assist.
McKeel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Auburndale, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 10-12.
 McKeel Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  win against Discovery on the 14th. As for Auburndale, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-0  victory against Lake Region on the 13th.
